Today, my boss and his wife stopped by to see the house and brought us a beautiful little ultra dwarf pear tree. It's a Bartlett Pear tree, and from the research I've done, it seems it will only grow to be about 8 feet tall.
But it's supposed to produce the same amount and size fruit as a regular size pear tree.
I'm excited, because pears are one of Jeremy's favorite fruits.
Now if I can just keep it alive. :) I figured I'd take pics of it as it looks now, just in case.
Anyone out there with experience growing dwarf fruit trees that has any advice for me? I've done a fair amount of reading online, but I'll take any words of advice from anyone who's raised these things successfully in the past!
