This one probably won't be very interesting for too many people (sorry in advance). We've been in our house for 2 weeks now, as of today. We've not had a lot of time to actually do much to personalize the house much yet. But there are a few things. :) I thought I'd post a blog with some of the things that make me smile when I walk through the house and catch a glimpse of them ... that have made this really feel like "our home."

First off, just to tease Sandy, here was our weather this afternoon. I'd say it was around 65-70º.
And here were the dogs playing with the duck:
Jeremy put in awesome dog doors, two of them. Now the wind doesn't blow in through the entire house like it did at the last place. Awesome!

Our friend Cindy made us some custom trivets and coasters!


We also got awesome new appliances at highly discounted prices, cuz they were dented. Jeremy is loving the in-door ice and water! I think it's one of his favorite things about this new house. haha. And the washer and dryer SO rock ..

See, Dani? We're still doing fish and seashells in one of the bathrooms! :)

The dogs love the open windows at their level. They can watch all the neighbors' goings-on. Hm, Sandy, maybe you'd actually LIKE them since they're so much like you, huh? Or maybe like you, Alice Kravitz? Uh, I mean Jenn ....

And last, but far from least, a couple other little details that won't mean much to most of you, but to some of you they will. :)
